It's a good place for picnic. The park has everything which can entertain children... paddling pool, sand pit, pets and animals, play area. This park also has a cafe wherein parents can enjoy a cup of coffee whilst their children are busy playing. The thing which I did not like about the park is it's not as clean as the other parks in London. There are more beautiful and clean parks. This park is not maintained as the grass was not cut. There was no such variety of flowers to beautify the location. Overall we had a nice picnic over there. My daughter enjoyed in the paddling pool and there was a magic show as well. It was pretty good.
Queen's Park is the Swiss Army knife of parks due to the array of families and young professionals out in force. The park is good for a meander away from the busy main road, or as a running track that can change each lap you complete. There are excellent facilities for the children, and a separate gated garden for those who wish for a little extra solitude amongst more ornate surroundings.

I joined a few months ago, and the experience has just been fantastic! I didn't know anyone there, but has since gotten to know so many members, most of whom have been members there for 10+ year. It's just such a friendly community, and such an impressive collection of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. The staff as well really make an effort to know everyone, which actually does make a difference. There's plenty of competitions and social events to get involved in, so I'm playing a lot more than I initially planned to... The fees I should say are very reasonable as well, compared to some other clubs I've inquired to. They have special rates for young professionals and students, so it's really worth a visit.
Visited the clubhouse for a friend's birthday so I cannot comment on the golf facilities! It's a lovely venue with seating inside and out, a bar and food (our party was not catered by the club). The staff were very helpful and friendly.
